T-Pain has been branded "Songwriter of the Year" at the BMI Urban Awards.
The singer-songwriter was awarded the trophy last nox (September 4) and he was besides credited as producer of the year, alongside Kanye West and J.R. Rotem.
Other winners on the night included Soulja Boy, Polow Da Don, Rodney Jerkins and Ne-Yo.
